• What is the Digital Journey?

The Digital Journey is a “gamified” online pen pal program that allows you to progress in language quickly and in a fun way. Aimed at teenagers from 10 to 17 years old, this program focuses on comprehension and oral expression with one live session per week that allows you to exchange with all the other international members of the community.

 

• Is it possible to try before I sign up?

Absolutely! The first month is always free and on top of that, there is no commitment, you can unsubscribe whenever you want.

 

• What languages can I learn with the Digital Journey?

At the moment, it is only possible to learn English in the Digital Journey. However, we are considering opening up slots for new languages. Don’t hesitate to tell us which one you would like to see soon (link to contact form).

 

• Why choose the Digital Journey?

The Digital Journey is an immersive program that comes as close as possible to a homestay experience. Through weekly exchanges with youth from around the world, teens learn about the world and new cultures while improving their English. This program is inspired by Montessori methods and helps develop self-confidence in foreign languages, one of the main obstacles to oral progress.

• Is there a free formula?

You can access our “We are the Village” community for free right here (Link to freemium). You will have access to all the educational content that is posted weekly. However, to participate in the live sessions, you must be registered in the Digital Journey program.

 

• Is the community moderated?

We are extremely concerned about the safety of our members and ensure that their digital experience is beyond reproach. The community is moderated and secure 24/7.

 

• My child has a low level of foreign language skills, is that a problem?

The Digital Journey is a progressive program that adapts to each individual’s level. Our bilingual coaches are there to ensure that everyone progresses at their own pace. Peer-to-peer interactions help everyone learn by learning from each other.

• Why is the travel platform closed?

What is important to us is that families and teenagers have the best possible experience during their stay abroad. And we believe that for this to happen, we need to be in conditions of serenity and trust. The current context does not allow us to meet these conditions, which is why we have decided to put all trips on hold until the new health restrictions specific to each country are announced.
